I completed my M.A. in English at Illinois State University. ISU’s history as a teacher training college has resulted in a strong tradition (and in fact, a requirement) that graduate students study and practice pedagogy as well as their subject area.
I love teaching and have practiced it in many capacities, including as a librarian and as a college-level writing instructor and literacy coach.
